Dear Maritime Conference Church Members,
As the Maritime Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Inc. says goodbye this week to our dear Conference Treasurer of 12 years, Ed Sharpe, we welcome in his stead the calling of Bisengi Gatare. He is no stranger to the Maritime provinces. He studied at Dalhousie University and his home church was the Halifax SDA church. Years ago, he was one of their young elders. Bisengi arrived in Nova Scotia in the early 90s and has many friends from this area; some became even as close as relatives. He left the Maritimes in 2001 to marry the love of his life, Chrystal, on the beautiful island of Bermuda where they have lived happily for many years. Together they are raising five beautiful children — Joshua, Daniel, Hannah, Naomi and Gabriella. They are excited to join us soon. Please join us in praying for their safe, successful transition to our Conference. See below our new Conference Treasurer pictured with his family.
