Some of Your Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age-appropriate programs daily
- Resolve conflicts with children using positive behavior and management techniques
- Document children’s learning using posters, learning stories, and notices
- Maintain records
- Communicate respectfully with parents daily, telling them about their child’s day, and listening and responding to any concerns
- Daily and ongoing cleaning of your classroom for everyone’s safety and well-being
- Model a professional and kind attitude
- ECE would be an asset
- A Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check; Social Development Record Check and a Valid first aid certificate and a valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate is required.
Part-time Cook
- Provide a list of food supplies and cleaning supplies needed each week
- Valid public health food handling course.
- Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Record Check; Social Development Record Check and a Valid first aid certificate and a valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
- Cleaning duties (i.e.. floors, kitchen equipment, and dishes)
- Cook and prepare 2 snacks and a lunch following the menu provided (Following the Canadian food Guide) and changes need to be posted on main bulletin board, and food allergies need to be posted in kitchen.
- Cleaning duties (i.e.. floors, kitchen equipment, and dishes)
- Break coverage as needed for the educators.
