We are the Maritime Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. As part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist church, we operate churches throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We also operate supporting institutions including Sandy Lake Academy, Precious Jewels Early Learning Centre, and Camp Pugwash.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Bible-believing Protestant church with approximately 20 million members worldwide. The Maritime Conference is made up of a people from a mosaic of beautiful cultures and languages that represents a diverse membership of 1738 Christians. Our members make up our 27 churches and 3 companies who gather to worship our creator God on the biblical seventh-day Sabbath.
As Adventists, we believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him. The Maritime Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and our churches seek to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus loves, accepts them, and desires to know and save them. We pray that as you navigate our website that you will find what you are looking for.
